I am absolutely thrilled with my forever HOME!  Working with Idell Construction was so easy.  From my very first meeting with Jeff and Josh to working with Matt throughout the entire build.  They made me feel comfortable in an area that I had no experience in.  There were no dumb questions and they met every one of my needs and wants in my home.  Idell Construction is a family owned business that believes in giving their clients a beautiful build, whether it’s a home or a business. Best home build experience we have had, And we’ve built or finished 8 houses.
It was a smooth process from Josh’s help in design/start up, then Matt’s supervision of the process, to Eric’s landscaping. Finished early and under budget, although my wife deserves a big chunk of the credit on the budget. She made wise decisions with Idell’s help. All of their sub contractors were great and easy to work with. Finishing early was helped in a big way by Matt’s planning and scheduling skills. It also helps that they have a good crew who can fall in on areas where a subcontractor isn’t practical or timely. We had the best experience building a house with Idell. Our home is lovely, weather-tight, beautifully finished and a pleasure to own. Our thanks to Josh who helped us with the design, Jeff  and Victor who made the process run smoothly, and especially Jonathan who was the easiest contractor we ever worked with. Jeff Idell and his team have been exceptional throughout the whole process of building our new home. Our primary residence is in Connecticut so it was important for us to find someone we could trust while being so far away. From the moment we first met, to the second our home was finished, we felt like we were in amazing hands. Not only are they extremely trustworthy but their attention to detail is outstanding and their level of craftsmanship in truly unmatched. Words cannot express how pleased I am with the job Idell Construction did building my home.  It began with a consultation where we designed the home.  They gave solid advice and feedback on many items I had not even considered.  They finished well ahead of schedule and that is with me changing items along the way. From start to finish Jeff and his team assured that all our needs were met, communication was top-notch, provided cost saving suggestions without loss of quality, and continue their support after completion of project. We had the most amazing experience with Idell Construction building our “forever home”.  From the first meeting, where they brought us in to their conference room to discuss our project, to the very end, they made the process of designing and building our home very smooth.  Being out of state for most of the project, they made it very easy to keep us connected with the progress.
Idell Construction was super-professional, true to their word, they listened to us but were also good at helping us manage our expectations and provide realistic solutions to achieve the results we wanted. Idell Construction Co., Inc. built the new 8000 sq ft Greeneville-Greene County Humane Society in 2022. Jeff Idell and his crew did a fantastic job. Their work was impeccable. I am the executive director of the Humane Society and I must say that it was a pleasure to work alongside Jeff and his crew. Jeff was always responsive and professional. We could not be happier with our retirement home Idell Construction built for us. From the first meeting, to decide the best location to build our home, to the CO they were a pleasure to work with. The Idell team is outstanding in so many ways and the sub contractors they work with are all superior tradesmen. They may not be the cheapest contractor around but as they so often say "you get what you pay for'". We don't plan on moving or building again but if we were we would not hesitate to use Idell Construction again.
